Studies
If you would like additional information on red light cameras, check out the studies below. While the red light camera industry — as well as their cronies in the government — would like for you to believe that red light cameras dramatically improve safety, the record does not indicate that that’s the case. Some studies show that the cameras have little or no impact in overall safety; it’s even been found that cameras can actually cause more problems than they solve. If your local officials are contemplating installing cameras, please make sure that they are aware of these studies.
